COVID-19 update #3

COVID-19 update #3

Well, here we are…37 days later. If we could have traveled into the future to explain what was about to take place, would we even have believed it? I doubt it. If we don’t find a little humor amidst all the pain, heartache, and loss from physical to financial, we may go a little crazy. We’re all doing the best we can, and that is enough. No matter what questions, fear, or frustrations we may feel – expressed or not – faith, hope, and love always prevail.

I hope you have been given and/or taken a little time to reflect, especially if you are an essential employee/business. A huge THANK YOU to those who work in the essential industries!

The time has come…

Phase 1: Moving forward. There is a plan in place on how to safely & properly reopen. Upon reviewing “A Community Strategy for Phased Reopening” that the City/County task force put together, I have noted below a few take-aways.

I take your health and safety very seriously and look forward to resuming sessions with those of you that would like to book a session. I plan to start scheduling in the next week or so. Of course, this is all fluid and subject to change…just like our goals and aspirations for the 1st & 2nd quarter of 2020

I will start rebooking everyone that was on my schedule from March 30th on. If you haven’t received a text from me, don’t worry, you will! Of course, you can always reach out to me with a ridiculous GIF or emoji to get my attention. Remember, humor wins.

Back to the point.

Again, I want you to know that I take your health & care very seriously, as well as my own. Adding to the list of things I already have in place to maintain a clean, healthy space for my clients, I will be outlining a few changes below that will be implemented for the time being. Together, we will all do our part to keep each other safe to the best of our abilities.

Additional procedures:

1)    Mask/face covering to be worn throughout the entirety of the session by client and practioner (a.k.a… me).

2)    Hand sanitizer will be available at the desk. Please use upon entry into the office and before you exit. Of course, the restroom is always available to wash your hands as well. As always, I will do the same.

3)    The payment process will be as “contactless” as possible.

a. I use an iPad to process payments through Square and it will be wiped down after each use

b. If you prefer to pay with cash, please bring the exact amount – I will not have change available

c. I can invoice you through Square via email

4)    If you have had a fever or any resemblance of an indicated symptom of COVID-19/any illness, I ask that you let me know as soon as possible. I will cancel your appointment until a later date. No cancellation fee will be charged during this time.

5)    Please arrive for your appointment no earlier than 5-10 minutes before your scheduled time. I will be allowing more time than normal between sessions, so social distancing between clients can be achieved. Also, I will be cleaning & disinfecting surface areas between sessions.

This is and always has been a fluid situation and I can’t imagine that will change anytime soon. With that said, I will add new procedures as they present themselves and will keep you posted if any changes need to be made. Flexibility and understanding will get us through this! I ask that you be patient with me and all business owners (as some of you are) as we navigate and re-enter this new world that we are living in. Patience and lots of grace will need to be given to everyone, including our public officials.

Thank you for your continued love and support. Words are simply not enough… I am thankful for each one of you and for allowing me to serve you and your families. Let’s stay present in the moment and keep our eyes fixed on the positives that came out of this. We are not out of the woods yet, but we will continue to move forward together.
