COVID-19 update

Dearest Clients & Friends,

As many of you know, I recently had the opportunity to assist with a 3-week long Anatomy Trains immersion course in Ottawa, ON, Canada. Unfortunately, that immersion was cut short due to COVID-19. It was a fruitful trip, and was a gentle reminder that there is a lot more to learn & so much more that I want to know!

Now that I am home in Knoxville, what does the next 3, 6 maybe 8 weeks look like? What does this mean for all of us financially? With so much uncertainty, I am following the lead of so many here in Knoxville & other practioners world-wide, and closing my doors until further noticeEthically, I feel it is the responsible thing to do until we can get a grasp on the true numbers here in Knox County & beyond. The thought of me playing a part in COVID-19 spreading is too much to bear. Some of my best friends & many of you, my clients, work in the healthcare system - the front lines. I feel if we all do our part of social distancing, then we can get past the worst of it in the near future & protect you all by simply staying put. THANK YOU for being dedicated to our community!

I will stay up-to-date with all the happenings here in Knoxville, and a follow up email will go out as soon as I am able to open my doors to you again. In the meantime, if any of you need anything, please reach out via email or text. I am happy to walk you through any help/alleviation of aches & pains you may be experiencing.

I hope we all heed this time of pause as a soft reset. I feel there is always a lesson in every circumstance we find ourselves in. This one, I believe can be one that is a call to re-connect to each other on a deeper level. My prayer is that we ALL come out of this better than we were. I kind of hope it doesn't go back to the way it used to be. Seeing everyone spend quality time together, amidst all the weirdness, has been nothing but heartwarming. The call to help each other & checking in, has been nothing short of what connection is all about. I could go on, but I won't. I look forward to the day that I get to hug & high-five each one of you. I admit, it is something I took for granted, but no longer.

So much love for all of you & your families. Stay safe & wash your hands!

-DC
